Masonic Village at Warminster is hiring a Human Resources Manager. This is a Part Time Day opportunity. The shifts will be 8 am - 4 pm four days per week.

What You'll Do:

As a Human Resources Manager, you will carry out our Mission of Love by implementing the Human Resource function in accordance with current applicable Federal, State, and local standards, guidelines and regulations and as directed by Masonic Village at Warminster under the auspices of the Executive Director for employment, compensation, benefits and labor relations for all employees at Masonic Village at Warminster. Some tasks and responsibilities as a Human Resources Manager may include:

  • Participate in the development of human resource objectives, philosophy and strategic planning in relation to Masonic Homes' and Masonic Village at Warminster mission and trends in human resource management.
  • Develop goals and objectives for the human resources department.
  • Educate and inform department managers, supervisors, and administrators on personnel policy and procedures and wage administration. Consult with Masonic Homes concerning legal problems and compliance issues.
  • Implement Masonic Homes' plans for benefit services and other employer/employee programs. Provide input/feedback concerning changes, policies, procedures, and benefits as they relate to human resources' management, and to maintain high employee job stability.
  • Develop techniques and procedures and direct activities of recruitment and placement of employees through applications review and interviewing.
  • Participates in reviewing market study for pay range changes.  Reviews internal information for pay equity, promotions, position titles, etc.
  • Oversee in-service supervisory training programs to develop more effective relations between supervisors and staff; to include instruction to department managers, supervisors, and administrators in training methods; assist other members of departments with specific training or employee problems.
  • Assure compliance in the area of human resources for compliance with other regulatory and legal requirements.
  • Maintain professional affiliations as appropriate and participate in professional activities to keep abreast of developments in health care administration and human resources
  • Reviews Workers' Compensation claims with Safety Directors and department managers, Participates in Safety Committee meetings and Employee Safety meetings. Tracks and reports on monthly incidents. Maintains OSHA 200 log.  Maintains and runs modified duty program for campus.  Monitors and tracks modified duty employees until returned to full duty.  Completes follow up on WC employees as needed.
  • Develops Quality Improvement monitors and benchmarks to improve department processes.
  • Participate as Wellness Representative for community. 

 

What You Definitely Have

  • Master (preferred) or bachelor degree from an approved college or university with courses in human resources and business administration with additional courses in psychology or labor relation law.
  • Three to five years human resources professional experience as a generalist.
  • Excellent communications skills, both oral and written word.
  • Experience in multiple word processing packages and human resource's software.
